Every night after i go to sleep I believe about food combinations. I’m not joking. Pairing food combinations together eventually lull me into a gorgeous sleep. Actually since we got our bed from Helix , I am sleeping like a true angel!
But I’ve pointed out that my dreams have grown to be increasingly more vivid – and weird too. Take a look out: The various other night I had fashioned a dream that I was Miley Cyrus (yet still myself in some way) which I converted into a blue robot on an island. I had formed two other friends which i didn’t know presently there. Suddenly a group of various other blue robots came and explained I could elect to die (extremely gruesomely) OR that I could take two products and swim across the ocean to another island. I chose the second option and had taken a fine sand bucket then one else I can’t remember. I grabbed my pal and we made it across.
Once on the far side of the ocean and on a new island, we noticed there was a beautiful however murky-looking pond. We went swimming, but suddenly felt something touch our feet. I informed everyone I thought it was a stingray. We couldn’t be sure though, so made a decision to drain the fish-pond in some way. Once drained, five arbitrary animals (a stingray, alligator, and a man from Mortal Kombat) popped out of the water and wanted to fight. It had been super dramatic.
Then I woke up and ate toast with chai-spiced hazelnut almond butter and pears. Now you understand that I’m truly a weird human.
Anyway enough about my dreams and much more about this hazelnut almond butter! I managed to get because I had fashioned a handbag of hazelnuts sitting in my counter-top before we moved and wished to make something together. So, you will want to make an easy buttery hazelnut almond butter?
While I love hazelnuts, I discover that enjoying them alone is often overpowering, specifically in a nut butter (unless it’s delicious chocolate obviously). THEREFORE I added almonds too. And chai spices! I think you’ll like it because it somehow reminds me of Xmas morning or sipping on a chai tea latte on a chilly fall morning. How many times until Christmas again?
Hope you love this hazelnut almond butter – among my favorite methods to use it is within these breakfast strawberry banana quesadillas xo!

Chai-Spiced Almond Hazelnut Butter
Body fat: 18.9g
Formula type: Nut Butter, Snack, Breakfast, Vegan, Gluten Free of charge, Grain Free of charge, Paleo
1 teaspoon floor cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and add hazelnuts and almonds to a large baking sheet, spreading away to evenly distribute. Roast for 10-12 moments or until slightly golden.
Allow nuts to cool for 5 minutes then transfer to a kitchen towel. Cover nut products in towel and use your hands to roll the nuts around so that you take away the skins of the hazelnuts (don’t worry about almonds). This helps to accomplish a creamier nut butter. Keeping the skins on is normally okay though, just understand your nut butter will not be as creamy.
Once a lot of the skins are off the hazelnuts, you can transfer the nut products to the food processor or broadband blender (like a Vitamix). Procedure on high until smooth, scraping down the edges as required. Add coconut sugar & coconut oil to assist in blending. At this time the nut products should start to clump collectively. Continue to procedure unless you reach the required consistency. I like mine extra creamy!
Once nut butter is blended, add in the spices and salt and blend for 30 seconds more. Pour right into a large cup jar or pot. To keep fresh, store in the fridge for 1 month. Not that it would last that long.
