A delicious smoothie made with wild blueberries, banana, almond dairy and spinach to get a nutritional boost. Finished with a sprinkle of chia seed products for a healthy dose of omega-3.

Hello. Let me proceed to tell you about how strange I am.
Last night I put this out of control craving for broccoli following my workout. Simply steamed broccoli with ocean sodium and pepper. Quite ridiculous actually, but I absolutely needed it. So off to Target I proceeded to go. Except you understand when you head into Target, it isn’t like you’re strolling correct out. Nope, you are going to become there for at least one hour filling your cart with issues you never knew you needed. Classic example: Vanilla Cupcake Goldfish. They essentially flavor like sweetened little animal cracker cookies. And if you’ve been right here a while, you understand how I LOVE animal crackers (specifically frosted). Oh and also, coconut milk conditioner. YUM.
I finally were able to leave Focus on with two bags complete. By enough time I arrived home I USED TO BE STARVING. Do you ever get to the main point where you’re therefore hungry that you can’t actually think? I thought about breaking open up a jar of peanut butter in my own car within the ride home, but understood that wouldn’t result in anything good.
Once home, We basically destroyed an entire bag of steamed broccoli for supper. Obviously that loaded me up, but only for one episode of The Vampire Diaries, so of course I put to make another thing. Since I am really trying to completely clean up my diet plan (without the goldfish), I chosen one of my favorite power smoothies.
Really though, they’re SO much better then the common ones. I usually purchase mine from Investor Joe’s, but if you can’t find them there, choose organic blueberries. I guarantee you’ll notice the flavor difference.
This recipe is sweet, simple, and a wholesome way to begin your morning or even to enjoy like a snack. Here’s why I find the pursuing ingredients:
Blueberries. Get those antioxidants in as well as your skin will shine.
Banana. Good for you carbs and help thicken up the smoothie.
Spinach. This is where the ability comes in. Spinach is full of nutrients and vitamins, and includes great fiber. Blend away – you will not notice the taste whatsoever!
Strawberries. I really like the way the taste combined with the blueberries & banana. And they’re a great way to obtain vitamin C to help increase your disease fighting capability.
Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. Packed with calcium, vitamin D, creamy and delicious; I’m a huge fan. Their almond-coconut milk is also to die for, as well! Either will work in this smoothie.
A sprinkle of Chia Seeds. Did you know Chia seeds include a healthful dose of omega-3s? In fact, they are one of the richest vegetable sources available. They’re also packed with dietary fiber and proteins. Who knew a little seed could be so powerful? Get your sprinkle on or better yet, blend them into the smoothie! Find out about chia seeds here
If you’d like more protein within this smoothie, experience free to add in a scoop of proteins powder or 1/4 cup of greek yogurt.
