Call me a multitasker. Or possibly I have Increase? Hell, it’s 1am and I’m just getting started on this post.
Plus I’ve almost 20 tabs open on Chrome.
But the stage of this isn’t to inform you about how of a night time owl I am or debate about my inability to focus. It’s about how much I love breakfast. How easy it really is to throw together an omelet, veggies, and a part of toast or sugary potatoes. Or how sometimes following a workout all I must say i want is proteins pancakes with bits of chocolates and warm peanut butter smothered on top.
Isn’t it tough to eat an excellent breakfast some days? Usually I’m therefore rushed that all I have time for is an apple and a giant spoonful of nut butter. I’m obviously addicted.
But turkey breakfast patties? Pretty marvelous is what they are.
I’ve produced these small patties time and time again. They are my breakfast time AND lunchtime staple. On times when I don’t possess time, I grab several patties from the freezer and provide them to work and zap them within the microwave. They’re a great low-carb breakfast, snack, or even together with a salad or matched with veggies for lunch.
My favorite way to enjoy them is with an egg white omelet and an enormous special potato topped with peanut butter. Yes, I understand I’m discussing peanut butter again. It’s a problem.
These homemade sausages are SO much better then your ones in the shop with strange additives and ingredients you can’t pronounce. Another bonus is that they are super slim and great for when you are attempting to eat clean.
They’re sweetened with handful of maple syrup and true juicy apple chunks. Plus gleam small cinnamon and nutmeg to help keep them full of wonderful spices.
1 garlic clove clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
2 egg whites
1/4 cup gluten free oat flour (I take advantage of Bob’s Crimson Mill)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line huge cooking sheet with parchment paper and aerosol with nonstick cooking food spray.
Heat essential olive oil in a big frying skillet over medium temperature. Add onions and and garlic and cook until garlic becomes fragrant, about 3 minutes. Add in diced apples and cook a few minutes more or until apples soften. Remove from warmth, transfer to a large bowl, and stir in cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add in surface turkey, maple syrup, egg whites, oat flour, and salt and pepper; mix well. Divide into 16 patties and put on prepared cooking sheet. Bake for ten minutes or until turkey is not any longer red. Serve with extra maple syrup.
