I’m going to be in Minnesota the rest of the weekend catching up with family and friends, plus doing the complete Easter brunch point. As a kid, Easter utilized to be one of my favorite vacations. Most likely because I adored all the delicious chocolate bunnies and nice things. I think my Mom got me an Easter container every year until I used to be about 16… before 12 months she didn’t and I threw an entire fit. Such as, I literally looked the entire home looking for my Easter basket because I believed she was kidding when she stated she didn’t obtain me one. It was such a particular tradition if you ask me and OMG could used to love JellyBelly coffee beans and Reese’s eggs. Mom… still waiting for my Easter container… you’ve kept time! HINT.

Most of the time though I’m all about building items for others. I really like being back because it provides me the chance to bake as much things as possible without fear of them going bad. Yesterday I produced my mom skinny banana delicious chocolate chip muffins (among her favorites) and tomorrow I’m planning on baking a batch of cookies for some friends.
In addition, it recently occurred to me that cooking from the center, whether for yourself or others, is incredibly particular. Baking is certainly both a skill and a research and like I’ve discussed earlier, just a little sweetness often seems to brighten any time. It really strike house with me when i was cooking these cookies and so I’d love to share a little tale with you…

I knew that I needed to bake something particular just for her that was easy, delicious and could fit into her dietary needs. Above all, I needed Kate to experience inspired to bake because after all, that’s what she loves to do. I know she’d approve of the Almond Butter Cookies. 1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup creamy all natural almond butter (I utilized Trader Joe’s)

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 levels F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
