Imagine that you could see an absolutely mouth watering cookie full of flavor, protein, fibers and nutritious elements.

These gentle and chewy cookies come to you in partnership with my friends at Almond Breeze This year they’re the state almondmilk from the Team USA Volleyball so when you know, Almond Breeze is a long-standing partner of a lot of healthful AK formulas! Today I’m getting you a flourless protein cookie recipe made with their almondmilk + various other nutritious ingredients to help you offer your best.
Now let’s make contact with cookie discussion…
Often when people listen to the word ‘protein’ anything within a recipe they think of bodybuilders or professional sportsmen. Just because something has proteins powder within it, doesn’t suggest it’s designed for a certain type of diet. In fact, it’s actually the opposite; protein is intended for EVERY kind of diet. Did you know each and every cell inside our body contains protein? You will need it in what you eat to assist your body restoration cells and make new ones!
So let’s eat ALL the cookies. Mmmmkay.
Before creating these cookies, I thought very long and hard in what goes into to a wholesome balanced snack or treat. First, I wanted to be sure it was an absolutely delish. Second, I needed it to include healthy fats, dietary fiber and protein to help keep you full and satisfied.
The result? A very tasty 110 calorie cookie with 2.5g fiber & nearly 5g protein.
Almond butter provides healthy fat, fiber and protein to keep you complete and pleased. Almonds certainly are a great for your skin layer because they provide loaded with supplement B & E and botin. Eat ’em up.
Almondmilk. I love using Unsweetened Original Almond Air flow Almondmilk in this recipe because it provides moisture to the cookies, but also keeps them dairy products free.
Protein powder. DO NOT be scared of utilizing a small protein powder. I favor vegan protein powders (Aloha or Vega are amazing).
Coconut flour. Probably the most absorbent flour ever. I really like the way the coconut flour keeps the cookies gentle and slightly nice for days.
Alright, it is time to move make these protein cookies. I am snacking in it after my exercises and love how filling they are. xo!
Almond Butter Chocolates Chip Proteins Cookies
Prep period:
5 mins
Cook period:
10 mins
Total time:
15 mins
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 teaspoon of sodium (only when your almond butter isn’t salted)
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons coconut flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons delicious chocolate chips
Optional add-ins: 2 tablespoons of dried out cherries and/or coconut flakes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Series a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a moderate dish, combine almond butter, coconut glucose, sodium, egg, almondmilk and vanilla extract. Blend until ingredients are well mixed. Next mix in protein natural powder, coconut flour and cooking soda pop until well combined. Fold in delicious chocolate chips.
Use a little cookie scoop to drop cookie dough with the tablespoonful onto ready cooking sheet. The dough is going to be somewhat sticky. Slightly flatten the tops of the cookies. Bake for 9-11 mins until somewhat golden brown for the edges. Allow cookies to great on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cable rack to complete chilling. Makes 12 cookies.
For the proteins powder: I tested these cookies with the next protein powders with great results: Vega Coconut Almond protein powder, Aloha vanilla proteins natural powder and Bob’s Red Mill Whey protein powder. I like utilizing the vegan proteins powders to get more pigs feet nutrition.
These cookies get softer as times pass. Shop them in an airtight box or freeze them and thaw one out when you want to enjoy.
I would not recommend subbing some other flour for the coconut flour.
I have not really tested these cookies to be vegan. Please let me know if you do!
