For reals though, I love baking a big fat bundt cake. Call me a vintage grandma, but I think this cake looks freaking fantastic. And when you could flavor a slice of the fluffy buttery sprinkled homemade treat, you’d be all like, F THAT Package MIX, THAT IS EVERYTHING I NEED IN LIFE.” I mean just have a look at that glaze. I find that when it comes to cake baking, it can be difficult to find the time to produce a 3 layered mind-blowingly delicious cake from scratch. Those ideas take decades to frost and it’s really quite easy to overbake or crack among the layers in half. However, bundt cakes provide a little bit of safety from all those dangers, but still have an incredible amount of flavor.

This cake isn’t only for birthdays either, I simply thought that all of the sprinkles ensure it is quite appropriate for one. Heck, perhaps you should just pretend it’s your birthday and ask someone to bake this for you. That’s what I would do.
I actually created this special cake as aside of a virtual wedding shower for Sally She’s having a wedding next month and some friends and I needed to do something special for the lady who is totally obsessed with everything sprinkles. But then again, I LOVE ALL THE MUFFINS. I’m letting you know, that muffin man’s work is at risk.
On my quest to bake something unique for Sally, my mind immediately went to yellow cake. My Dad was the one who taught me how to make the perfect yellow cake so cooking this brought some sweet memories lately nights baking sheet cakes and hands whipping delicious chocolate frosting with some coffee. My favorite.
You’ll find that cake is obviously simple to make, but it’s extraordinarily good. It is possible to always switch it up and glaze it with chocolates or omit the sprinkles altogether. Either way, I know you will absolutely enjoy this recipe as much as I do.

3 cups wedding cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
For the glaze
2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Make a 12 cup bundt pan by large spraying it with non-stick cooking squirt (or you can grease it with butter) and dusting it with flour. Touch out any extra flour.
In a large bowl, whisk jointly the wedding cake flour, baking natural powder, baking soda pop and salt; set aside.
In the plate of an electric mixer using a paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar together on medium speed for 2 minutes or until light and fluffy. Switch the mixing machine to low speed and add the eggs, egg yolks, vanilla, and almond remove mixing until just combined. Scrape the edges of the bowl as necessary, add the yogurt and defeat for another minute.
Using the mixer still on low speed, alternate adding in the flour and buttermilk mixture towards the butter mixture (in two increments); combining until just combined. Once all included, remove paddle attachment and slowly stir in 1/2 cup of sprinkles. Pour batter in to the prepared skillet, smooth the very best from it, and bake for 50-60 mins or before top is good and golden brown and the cake tester (or knife) comes out clean with just a couple crumbs attached. Allow wedding cake cool completely in the bundt pan before flipping it ugly and removing it from the pan. Place wedding cake on providing platter and drizzle with white delicious chocolate glaze (guidelines adhere to). Cut into 12-16 pieces a serve with an increase of glaze, if desired!
To make glaze: In a little saucepan over low warmth, melt white chocolates. Add in milk and vanilla and regularly stir until the glaze it clean. If you want a thicker glaze, add in several tablespoons of powdered sugars. Drizzle over cooled wedding cake.
