Quinoa queen? Nevermind. I wish I’d experienced these pancakes today before I did three hours worth of yoga this morning. I used to be aching for these through every downward pup and warrior two. Recently it feels as though time is passing by too quickly, like yesterday there is snow on the ground and wasn’t it simply Christmas while i baked a batch of cinnamon rolls and everything brunched in our pajamas? There are specific days after i appreciate how quickly the hours fade, just like the sunset in the evening. And other days where all Let me do is certainly linger in these moments for a few days, soaking up every drop of storage and joy. But as we understand, life will move you by in the event that you spend a lot of time thinking about the past or long term.

It has been my mantra lately. Reside in the moment. Do what you feel is right. Generally trust your center. I’ve been on the quest to visit even more; there’s something about it that feeds my soul, filling up it with understanding, contentment, experience and love. I’ve been to the Caribbean, Arizona, Minnesota and Texas …

Oh hi! I must confess that my normal breakfasts don’t contain pancakes or anything quite particular. Typically I’ll fry an egg or two, or appreciate an on the go protein shake.

FLASHBACK to my glittery college years: I remember sitting down using a plate of oatmeal or even a peanut butter and strawberry jelly toasted British muffin and enjoying breakfast while reading in our college breakfast nook. It’s getting cold outside you guys! And I’m kind of worked up about it because it means I get to wear all of my cozy clothes, fall footwear and undoubtedly, bake my heart out. I actually can’t wait to head to the apple orchard this season to pick new juicy apples. Tony just got finished with baseball and you will be staying with me for the next about a week. Hopefully we’ll possess time to head to the orchard.

The best apples to treat on are often Honeycrisp and Braeburn because of their sugary, crispy crunch. However nothing beats a granny smith when it comes to baking. They’re properly tart but still offer some sweetness. I cannot wait to bake up well-known apple crisp this season (ensure it is!). I’m thinking about stocking through …

Football season is here now, and I don’t know about you but I’m interested in the snacks rather than the game. Then when I had the opportunity to partner with Pillsbury to build a Snackadium using their crescent rolls & pizza dough, I was totally in!

Hence I began my objective: throwing the best soccer party with copious amounts of snacks, dips, dark brown butter cookies, meatballs, wings and just about anything you can think of. Ohhhhh yeah. Right now you’re probably thinking what I did so to create this ultimate party, and it’s really simple really: I built a snackdium …

Quinoa enchilada bake is a great tasting appetizer or dinner! Best of all it’s made with a straightforward homemade enchilada sauce!

I’m going to be in Minnesota all of those other weekend getting up with family and friends, plus doing the complete Easter brunch thing. As a kid, Easter utilized to be among my favorite holidays. Most likely because I enjoyed all the chocolate bunnies and sweet things. I think my Mother got me an Easter basket every year until I was about 16… until the season she didn’t and I threw an entire fit. As in, I literally looked the entire home looking for my Easter basket because I thought she was kidding when she said she didn’t obtain me one. It had been such a particular tradition to me and OMG the way i used to like JellyBelly coffee beans and Reese’s eggs. Mom… still looking forward to my Easter basket… you’ve kept time! HINT.

Most of the time though I’m all about making stuff for others. I really like being back home because it gives me the chance to bake as many things as possible without concern with them going bad.
