In the event that you haven’t noticed, I am on a small amount of a cooking hiatus. It isn’t that I haven’t baking, because Instagram knows I have

It’s just that ever since I made a commitment to follow the #SummerSWEATseries exercises and some from the meal plans, I’ve made a conscious work about the amount of sugars and sweet treats I’ve been putting into my body. When I do indulge it is almost always a spoonful or two of vanilla almond butter …

I can hardly believe it’s currently February. But it’s also exciting because then I’ll no more have to deal with blizzards that do this to my car. I’m not kidding I literally had to shovel snow with my scraper because hey, who helps to keep a shovel in their car? Not me.

I figured before the snow melts, I’d bring you some warm comforting dishes that produce your heart experience full (but not your bellies). In order to stop venturing out to eat so much with Tony, I whipped up this easy and delicious pasta with all the ingredients within the I could discover in the fridge. …

Ready for this vegan lovely potato corn chowder with just a little hint of curry spice? It’s comforting, filling and a wonderful method to use up fresh or frozen summer season corn.

Welcome back to post Labor Day weekend reality. Have you got a hangover? BTW I’m not talking the alcoholic sort of hangover. I’m discussing the food hangover that lasts for a day or two post stuffing that person with chips, all the dips, glaciers cream, and alright, several margaritas. Am I simply discussing myself here? …

Given that it’s January, I realize that the majority of us are now about some fitness or health mission. I really haven’t made any resolutions, apart from to never allow myself miss out on an experience that I find interesting or challenging. However, I do believe that it’s finally period for me to return back to the swing of issues health-wise. I’m also making an effort to get rid of all of the rubbish I ate last month – ugh, like more than enough using the cookies currently! Yep, I simply said that.

Even when I’m eating healthier, I just can’t look for a reason why I’d quit eating Mexican meals. Why torture myself? Everybody knows how that could find yourself – me using a plateful of nachos, a giant margarita, and a lot of guilt. Who provides up the things they love the most? Not this gal. …

Here are three reasons why:

1. The team you had been rooting for may have lost, an obvious reason to lay in bed all day. 2. You’re inside a food coma because you do not care about sports and ate all of the bread dip on the party rather (me)! Unwanted fat naps are needed. 3. No one loves Mondays …

I actually woke up early this morning eager to bake a banana breads. I silently mashed bananas in my kitchen and watched the sunshine creep through the windows. I mean to be flawlessly honest all I needed to do was turn on Jay-Z’s 99 complications, sing loudly and switch the lyrics to I got 99 problems but BANANA BREAD AIN’T ONE!” Too bad my roommates had been still sleeping or it totally would have happened.

Now that I think about it I’m kinda happy I didn’t as I can’t state that rapping is one of my talents. And when you don’t understand who Jay-Z is certainly then maybe we’ll just move on and discuss the real star here: Banana bread. With peaches. Annndddd cinnamon. A dark brown sugar topping as …

Of course you are!

I made these brownies on snapchat a couple weeks ago (username: ambitiouskitch) and found that several of you ended up making them and tagging me on Insta. This is giving me some incentive to post more Snapchat recipes and not simply video clips of my cat drinking water out of a tea cup. By the …
