Some time ago, Tony and I had the chance to visit Pensacola, Florida where we’d the absolute BEST truffle fries on the planet. The heavenly scorching fries were full of garlic and truffle flavor, melted in the mouth area and experienced this gorgeous crusty golden exterior that I simply couldn’t get over.

I finally reached my French fry heaven. Among my weaknesses in lifestyle. Yours too?
Great, because I’ve got the absolute BEST baked french fries on earth for you yourself to devour…
After tasting the golden brown crispy little loves in Pensacola, I fell head over heels for truffle oil. Actually, I ended up purchasing a bottle of truffle oil just so I could recreate the fries at home! My edition calls for cooking instead of frying, making them a lot lighter in calories in fat, but not at all flavor.
Also, when did the regular old potato become such a bad thing? I LOVE POTATOES. And I really like french fries.
The trick to crispy, golden goodness? Adding just a little parmesan towards the fries before cooking. It blends using the essential oil and sticks to the fries, therefore not only will it put in a crispiness like no various other but you obtain extra flavor as well!
Because of this version, I used Go Veggie’s parmesan , that is lovely if you have tummy issues or are lactose free. They also have a vegan version that completely ROCKS.
Lastly, if you can’t find truffle oil in your area it is possible to order it online here , or just skip it and use essential olive oil in lieu of the truffle oil. In any event, these fries will be FANTASTIC.
I recommend serving these with bunless burgers, grilled chicken or fish, or just as an appetizer for noshing about! Hope you LOVE.
Healthy Baked French Fries with Garlic, Parmesan & Truffle Oil

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil (1 tablespoon may also work)
½ tablespoon truffle oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
For topping:
Extra truffle oil, for drizzling on top
Sodium and pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 400 levels F. Collection two large baking sheets with parchment paper and generously squirt with nonstick cooking food spray.
Cut potatoes into ¼” inch thick matchsticks. To do this cut the potatoes in half…
Place the lower potatoes into a large bowl and pat straight down with a paper towel to absorb any excess wetness. Next add essential olive oil, truffle oil, garlic, garlic powder and salt to the bowl, toss to combine. Sprinkle parmesan parmesan cheese at the top and lightly toss again.
Arrange fries in the two prepared baking sheets so that none of the fries are coming in contact with. This will allow them to sharp up while they bake. Spray the top from the france fries with a little olive oil cooking spray (canola also functions). Place in oven, baking linens hand and hand, and bake for 20 moments, then flip fries over with a metallic spatula and rotate the pans. Bake for 15-20 even more minutes and flip again if essential to brown all edges of the fries.
Once fries are good and golden brown, remove through the oven and invite to cool on baking bedding for five minutes. Then drizzle just a little extra truffle oil on top and garnish with extra parmesan, cilantro or parsley. Period with additional salt and pepper, if you want! Serves with lots of ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce. Serves 4 people.
If you don’t have truffle essential oil, you can simply use olive oil instead.
