Oh son were these nut free of charge granola bars delicious! No, I’m not just stating that because that is my blog page and I claim everything to end up being tasty af – it is because I held returning to the fridge to grab another, and then another! I could have eaten the complete pan right then and there.
Well be prepared… everything’s going to change. Yep that is right – you don’t need to seek out any more store-bought granola pubs because these are the real thing. Chewy, slightly crunchy, gluten free of charge & filled with fruits, nutritious seeds and wholegrains – these nut free of charge granola bars are about to become your (or your little one’s) preferred snack.
Here’s the way the tale goes: I used to be strollin’ with the grocery store and suddenly recognized I put sunflower seed butter leftover from after i made my allergy friendly delicious chocolate zucchini breads (so good!). Then your reader survey came to mind; right then and there my brain went on a creative mission to make the best nut free of charge granola bars ever.
Immediately, I headed to the majority portion of the store to fill in pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, quinoa and dried figs. A little something different then your usual ingredients! I headed house, both motivated and deliriously thrilled to whip these up.
This recipe is based off my peanut butter quinoa granola bars , but just adjusted things just a little occasionally. Reducing the oats within the formula and adding in fiber-packed flaxseed food, both sunflower and pumpkin seeds & just a little chewiness from dried figs. They came out absolutely perfect. I know this because my sweetheart ate three pubs in one night time. He also statements he doesn’t like bars, therefore there you move.
Here’s the lowdown upon this recipe:
These truly are superfood bars – with pumpkin seed products, sunflower seeds, flax, chia, quinoa and oats! It is the perfect energy club!
This recipe is allergy friendly – just be sure you are employing gluten free oats and vegan chocolate if you’re rendering it for someone with an allergy.
The bars are soft and chewy with just a little hint of crunch from the quinoa & seeds.
These bars are basically no bake! All you need to do is certainly toast the quinoa, oats & seed products.
Hope you love these bars in so far as i loved building them. Keep carefully the requests coming – it inspires me to create fun goodies for you.

Calories from fat: 223
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (gluten free, if desired)
1/2 cup uncooked quinoa
1/2 cup organic or homemade sunflower butter
1/3 glass honey (or coconut palm syrup if vegan)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Add oats, quinoa, sunflower seed products and pumpkin seed products to a large cooking sheet and spread around equally. Once oven is usually preheated, toast the oats and quinoa for 8-10 mins. Once done toasting, pour oats and quinoa into a moderate bowl and reserve.
While quinoa and oats are toasting, add sunflower butter, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt to medium saucepan over low warmth. Stir every so often until the mixture is easy and creamy. Remove from high temperature and allow to cool for a couple minutes, then enhance the bowl using the oats and quinoa. Mix well to incorporate. Flip in flaxseed food, dried figs and chia seed products.
Range an 8×4 or 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper; pour combination in and spread out evenly, after that press combination down within the pan very firmly.
Next melt delicious chocolate chips for 20 mere seconds in the microwave or over low heat within a saucepan over the stove top. Drizzle over bars. Place skillet in freezer for thirty minutes or until mix has hardened. Remove pubs from pan and cut into 10 pubs. Store bars in the fridge. Enjoy!
If you are not allergic to nut products, feel absolve to also sub out the seeds for any kind of nut you desire. Same complements the nut butter!
Rather than dried figs, try another dried fruits such as cranberries or blueberries.
You can miss the chocolate drizzle if you want, but who doesn’t love a little dark chocolate? Significantly.
This is just what I call an ideal breakfast for office days ! As well as your photos : absolutely amazing ! Bravo. Continue rocking !
